Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Daniela DeGasperis is known for her enthusiasm and commitment to impacting her community. With a background in Marketing and Branding and a passion for philanthropy, Daniela is a trusted leader.

In the spring of 2020, Daniela founded DDM Group as a result of her own experiences navigating the financial landscape. Despite her desire for financial guidance, Daniela was disappointed in the range of resources and support offered by larger institutions.

Daniela’s experience inspired her to develop a network of industry experts with the knowledge and communication skills to provide superior service in counseling others on how to reach their financial and lifestyle goals.

An entrepreneur, media personality and force for positive change, Erica Ehm brings her remarkable ability to reinvent, influence and create to DDM Group as its Director of Communications and Culture.

Erica is a storyteller at heart. After a decade on camera at MuchMusic, she became a trailblazing entrepreneur, founding the Ehm & Co. agency and YMC.ca platform. Under her leadership, these companies earned many prestigious marketing and leadership awards, including a Governor General’s Innovation nomination.

A pioneer in content marketing, social media and community building, Erica is focused on leadership, innovation, and sharing her passion for pursuing one’s dreams.

A former Managing Partner of one law firm and the Founder of another, Tatha Swann joins DDM Group as Managing Director.

With a background in both Architecture and Law, Tatha’s drive is to provide expert advice, seamless delivered. As a trusted advocate, integrity in advising clients is her hallmark. As an adept in design, finesse in planning and execution is equally important to her.

Tatha’s personal experience with DDM Group as an entrepreneur and business owner led her to seek greater financial success, an enhanced lifestyle and personal well-being. She now shares her knowledge and experience to help others reach their personal and financial goals.

Jennifer Styslo is Vice President of Insurance, of DDM Group. Jenn has been recognized as a top advisor in Canada through Financial Horizons for many years in a row.

Being a business owner herself, Jenn appreciates and understands the complex planning needs of business owners and professionals. She uses her impeccable reputation, concrete knowledge in the insurance industry, and professional relationships to access a vast market of financial tools and insurance products in order to achieve superior outcomes for client needs and goals.

The most important thing to Jenn is her relationship with clients. To characterize her as a people person is an understatement. The care and personal touch she brings to her work is unparalleled. Jenn is truly a friend, as well as a consultant, to her clients.

Sarah Helmer is VP Communications of DDM Group.

Early in her professional life, Sarah’s affinity for the performing arts and commitment to women’s leadership led her to co-found a contemporary dance collective in her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. After many successful productions, Sarah left dance and moved to Toronto to pursue a career in law, obtaining her law degree at the University of Toronto and then working at a prominent boutique law firm in downtown Toronto.

Sarah brings her business knowledge and legal expertise to her work at DDM Group, along with her warm and personal approach to building client relationships. She finds fulfillment in educating and guiding her clients to reach and exceed their planning goals.

Behi Shafiei is Manager of Business Development at DDM Group.

Behi understands talented and ambitious first-and second-generation immigrants, whether they are taking their first steps into financial literacy or want to expand their legacy with more advanced planning strategies.

Drawing from a rich background in psychology and public policy and her extensive experience in real estate, Behi shares her fiscal wisdom and guides others on the path to financial literacy and economic prosperity. Designing the life you want starts with understanding what’s possible.
